The CW's Summer Premiere Dates Announced

'Beauty and the Beast' returns from its long hiatus led by 'Whose Line Is It Anyway?' on Mondays.

AceShowbiz - There is more than reruns this summer on The CW. The network has announced its summer premiere dates for returning shows as well as new series such as "Famous in 12", "Backpackers" and "Seed".

"Whose Line Is It Anyway?" moves to new night, Mondays, starting from June 2 at 8/7c. The long-awaited "Beauty and the Beast", which has been off air since March, premieres on the same night at 9/8c.

On Tuesdays, there will be docuseries "Famous in 12" which follows a fame-seeking family around the clock for 12 weeks. Comedies "Backpackers" and "Seed" take Monday nights starting from July 14. "Backpackers" previously aired on CW's digital platform.

Magic shows "Penn & Teller: Fool Us" and "Masters of Illusion" take Wednesday and Friday time slot respectively. Only Thursdays are used for encores.

8/7c: "Famous in 12"

8/7c: "Penn & Teller: Fool Us" 9/8c: "Arrow" (encore; new time slot)

Friday, August 1

8/7c: "Masters of Illusion"
