Based on the novel by Pamela Redmond Satran, the new show centers on 40-year old Liza (Foster), a single mother who is looking to get back into the workforce. She eventually lands a job as an assistant to a temperamental boss, Diana (Miriam Shor). Teaming up with her new co-worker Kelsey (Duff), she now has to make sure no one finds out the secret only she and Maggie share.

The 12-episode first season of the series will premiere in the fall. The show will be filmed in New York.
