Movie

Cranston plays a suspicious scientist who tries to uncover the real reason behind the terrifying destruction in the city.

AceShowbiz - "Godzilla" releases a new trailer that features some new footage. Amidst glimpses of mass destruction in New York City, Bryan Cranston says, "They're lying. I'm not crazy. Whatever it is they're guarding so carefully, I need to be able to prove that it's real."

Cranson plays a nuclear physicist, Aaron Johnson portrays his on-screen son, Ford, and Elizabeth Olsen stars as Ford's wife. A tender moment between the married couple and a look at the giant roaring monster are briefly shown as well in this video.

The revamped version of the original Toho classic will have more than one monster. The Gareth Edward-directed film will pit the world's most famous monster against malevolent creatures who, bolstered by humanity's scientific arrogance, threaten our very existence.

The movie is due May 16 in the United States.
