'The Voice' Coaches Round Up Teams, Usher Invents New Word

Shakira lures Lindsay Bruce by touting that Miranda Lambert will be her guest mentor, while Usher convinces Brittnee Camelle to join his team after making up the word 'overstand.'

Tuesday, March 11 marked the final night of Blind Auditions on "" season 6. The coaches, , , and , scored one contestant each in the episode, completing their teams of 12.

With only one spot left to fill, the coaches were battling it out for Kaleigh Glanton. The 20-year-old Kansas native sang "Have You Ever Seen the Rain" by Creedence Clearwater Revival. Adam said she's good but needed work and Shakira loved her "quirky" voice, but Blake with his promise to put a spotlight on her lured Kaleigh to join his team.

Shakira and Usher later fought over Brittnee Camelle, a nursing student who's willing to give up her scholarship for a shot on "The Voice". She delivered a powerful rendition of 's "Skyscraper". Blake urged her to join Team Shakira. The Colombian artist herself said she understood Brittnee who wanted to inspire people, but Usher chimed in, "She understands that, I overstand that." Brittnee decided to join Team Usher. Later, it's revealed that Brittnee picked the R&B singer due to their same Atlanta origin.

Shakira faced a competition against Adam when she vied for Lindsay Bruce, who said her uncle's death in the 9/11 attacks inspired her to write a song. She took on "Even If It Breaks Your Heart" by . Shakira told Lindsay that her guest mentor for the season would be , and the 25-year-old aspiring singer chose the Latin singer as her coach.

Adam was the last coach to round up his team, snagging Caleb Elder who sang "Groove Me" by King Floyd. The 19-year-old works at a donut shop called Daylight Donuts and Adam was excited to welcome him to his team. "We're gonna eat donuts on my team!" he shouted as they celebrated it onstage.

Next week, the show will move on with the Battle rounds.
