'Amazing Spider-Man 2' New Clips Feature Spidey's Kiss and the Sniper

March 12, 2014, 1:57 am GMT

One video sees Peter Parker and Gwen Stacy kissing in a closet-like place, while the other footage shows Electro lashing out at a sniper.

Two new clips for "The Amazing Spider-Man 2" arrive. One features Andrew Garfield's Spidey and Emma Stone's Gwen Stacy having a sweet moment, while the other shows the fiasco when Jamie Foxx's Max Dillon makes his first appearance as Electro in public.

The first video, courtesy of E!, opens with Peter Parker and his high school sweetheart arguing while hiding in a cramp place before he makes the move to end their bickering with a kiss. What happens next is Peter hilariously distracting the guards as Gwen sneaking into an elevator.

The second clip shows the heroic wall crawler trying to talk down Max Dillon who is confused with his sudden super-powered transformation. He never meant to hurt anyone but couldn't contain his repressed anger anymore and then he lashes out when a sniper tries to shoot him.

Directed by Marc Webb, the comic book film is due Stateside on May 2.
