Taylor Swift Named Billboard's Highest-Paid Singer of 2014

The country/pop superstar earned nearly $40M from the sales of her 'Red' album, the downloads of her songs and the ticket sales of her 'Red' tour.

tops Billboard's highest-paid musician of 2014 list which was released on Monday, March 10. According to the music site, the country/pop superstar earned a whopping $39,699,575.60 in the past 12 months.

She sure made big bucks from the sales of her 2012 album "Red" and the downloads of her songs. However, her biggest earning came from her massive "Red" tour which brought in an estimated $30 million, according to Billboard Boxscore.

In the list, Swift bests fellow country crooner who's placed second after making $32,956,240.70 from his chart-topping album "" and the ticket sales of his successful "No Shoes Nation" stadium tour.

At No. 3, earned $31,463,297.03 after releasing his "" and "" albums as well as embarking on two tours. Rounding out the top five are veteran rock bands and , which pocketed $29,436,801.04 and $26,225,121.71 respectively.

Other musician who made it to the list's top 10 are ($24,429,176.86), ($22,284,754.07), ($22,142,235.98), ($20,072,072.32) and ($19,123,101.98).
