AceShowbiz - "Legends of Oz: Dorothy's Return" full trailer is unleashed, before the animated movie arrives in U.S. theaters on May 9 to celebrate the 75th anniversary of the classic "The Wizard of Oz". It follows Dorothy (Lea Michele) as she is transported back to the land of Oz and helps her friends save the magical kingdom.
When Dorothy arrives in Oz, she finds that the land is in grave danger and her old friends, Scarecrow, Tin Man and the formerly Cowardly Lion, are nowhere to be found. As she journeys to find them, she encounters a number of new companions including a marshmallow soldier; a china doll princess, and a tugboat.
Dan Aykroyd, Kelsey Grammer, James Belushi, Megan Hilty, Hugh Dancy, Oliver Platt, and Patrick Stewart are among the voice cast. The villain, a wicked Jester who thinks all of Oz should be under his control, is voiced by Martin Short.
This weekend, the 86th annual Academy Awards will pay homage to the all-time classic "Wizard of Oz". Liza Minnelli, the singer daughter of the original actress Judy Garland, will take part in the tribute.
