'Entourage' Movie Gets Summer 2015 Release

Warner Bros. has also announced release dates for 'Inherent Vice', 'The Intern', 'The Conjuring 2' and 'Mean Moms' among other new releases.

AceShowbiz - Warner Bros. has set a release date for "Entourage". An adaptation of HBO's TV series of the same name, the movie will be unleashed in theaters across the country on June 12, 2015. The comedy is set to open against Universal's sci-fi adventure "Jurassic World".

The film picks up where the series left off, chronicling the career of movie star Vincent Chase and his entourage of friends. The original actors Adrian Grenier, Kevin Connolly, Jeremy Piven, Kevin Dillon, and Jerry Ferrara are all back reprising their respective roles.

New cast members, meanwhile, include Billy Bob Thornton, Kid Cudi, and Liam Neeson. The film is directed by the series' creator Doug Ellin and co-produced by Mark Wahlberg. The original series which ended in 2011 after eight seasons is based on Wahlberg's experiences as an up-and-coming actor.

WB has also booked a date for Paul Thomas Anderson's adaptation of Thomas Pynchon's detective novel "Inherent Vice". The film starring Joaquin Phoenix, Benicio Del Toro, Owen Wilson, Reese Witherspoon, and Josh Brolin will arrive on December 12 this year.

The studio, meanwhile, will release Nancy Meyers' workplace comedy "The Intern" on September 25, 2015. Led by Robert De Niro and Anne Hathaway, the film will face off Sony Pictures Animation's "Hotel Transylvania 2".

"The Conjuring 2: The Enfield Poltergeist" is set for October 23, 2015 release, and an untitled horror movie rumored to be its spin-off "Annabelle" is due October 3 this year. "Mean Moms", which is based on a book by Rosalind Wiseman whose non-fiction work inspired "Mean Girls", is slated for May 8, 2015. Another comedy "How to Be Single", which could be a starring vehicle for Lily Collins, is scheduled for February 12, 2016.
