'American Idol' Reveals Partial List of Top 30

One of the singers who make it to the Top 30 is M.K. Nobilette, who announces on the show that she's gay.

"" is narrowing down the contestants to 30(+1) in the second week of Hollywood Round. On Wednesday, February 12, viewers got to learn 17 of the singers who survived another elimination after singing for the judges before the final judgment.

The usually nice warned the contestants not to make any excuses before their performances. "Hearing people b**** about they don't feel good? That sucks the energy out of what you're about to do," he said. "If you tell us you're sick, we're going to think about you being sick... Don't tell us how to feel for you - ever."

Up first was Emily Piriz whom described as a "confident yet quiet contender." She eventually made it to the Top 30. Spencer Lloyd, Jillian Jensen and Sam Woolf who sang an original also heard the same verdict.

Also making through this round was M.K. Nobilette, who made a history on "Idol" as the first contestant who came clean about her sexual orientation during the competition. "I'm very obviously gay," she told the judges when asked if she fit the mold of the show, "there are always going to be people in America and everywhere else that are definitely going to hate me." But she believed that the world had become more accepting of that as said, "The world is changing."

The judges had a hard time to pick between Jessica Meuse and Jesse Roach, so they called them up together. The judges were divided, but eventually decided to keep Jessica and send home Jesse.

Casey Thrasher and C.J. Harris were also paired together and both delivered strong performances. The verdict, however, will not be revealed until Thursday.

The same episode also featured , who showed up to remind people that he's still on the show. Harry and Keith "auditioned" for Randy, perfoming Wild Magnolias' "Fire Water".
