'Game of Thrones' Alum Michelle Fairley Cast as '24: Live Another Day' Villain

Fairley joins FOX's revival of the Kiefer Sutherland-starring series as the widow of a notorious terrorist, replacing Judy Davis who recently bowed out of the project.

Michelle Fairley has landed another TV gig after her "" character's storyline ended. The Northern Irish actress joins the cast of FOX's miniseries "", taking over the villainous role left by who recently dropped out of the project.

Fairley will be seen as Margot, a British national and widow of a notorious terrorist, the role which initially belonged to Davis. Davis cited personal family matters as the reason of her exit, but did not divulge the details.

"24: Live Another Day", still starring as Jack Bauer, is set London, four years after the events in the series finale. Now an exile, heroic agent Jack nevertheless is willing to risk his life and freedom to avert yet another global disaster. He attempts to thwart an unthinkable terrorist attack in London that could change the world forever.

returns as Chloe, who is now working underground. The actress dishes on her character's state, "When you find Chloe, she's just somewhere we've never seen her before. She's in a bad, bad spot...I've gone anti-government and when Jack and I are finally reunited, we're not seeing eye-to-eye and he's being hunted by a CIA agent."

stars as CIA head Steve Harries, plays CIA agent Kate Morgan, Giles Matthey is CIA computer tech Jordan Reed, and Gbenga Akinnagbe is cast as a strong and arrogant field operative named Erik Ritter. William Devane returns as James Heller, who is now President of the United States, and Golden Globe Award nominee joins in a recurring role.

The "24" revival premieres with a two-hour event Monday, May 5 at 8 P.M. on FOX.

Fairley, best known as Catelyn Stark on HBO's hit series "Game of Thrones", has recurred on USA Network's "" following Catelyn's tragic death on the medieval drama.
