AceShowbiz - Demi Lovato brought out a special guest when she kicked off her "Neon Lights" tour at Rogers Arena in Vancouver on Sunday night, February 9. The former judge on "The X Factor (US)" was joined onstage by pal and fellow former Disney star Nick Jonas to perform several songs together.

The two superstars treated the crowd with the live rendition of "Stop the World", "Catch Me" and "Here We Go Again". Rocking pink hair and wearing black jacket, Lovato played her guitar while singing the former song with Jonas who was clad in a black leather jacket and black jeans.

Lovato then ditched her guitar when performing the latter two tracks. In the videos uploaded to YouTube by fans, the crowd can be seen going wild and singing along as their two idols share vocal duties on the stage. Lovato gave Jonas a big hug after the performance.

It has recently been revealed that Jonas joins Lovato's tour as creative and musical director. "I'm overseeing video content, wardrobe, lighting and staging," he said in an interview with Rolling Stone. "And then I'm extending into the musical side of things, which includes creating the arrangements for the songs. I'm building what Demi wanted, which is a show without stops and starts."

Lovato then opened up about how she ended up working with the younger brother of her ex-boyfriend, Joe Jonas, in an interview with MTV. "And he had visions for this tour and he threw out some ideas and they were really good and we just thought 'Why don't you just do the whole tour, please?' so it's turned out amazing and like 90 percent is his work," she explained.
