'The Bachelor' Recap: Juan Pablo Sends Home Birthday Girl, Makes Up With Clare
TV

The Bachelor has a steamy date with Andi at a geyser in New Zealand and clears up last week's drama with Clare during their one-on-one date.

AceShowbiz - Clare had not been over last week's drama on "The Bachelor" in which Juan Pablo Galavis treated her like she did something wrong after their skinny-dipping. The two had a chance to talk about it during their one-on-one date in the latest episode airing February 10.

Trying to make sure she knew he still had feelings for her after their "mistake," Juan Pablo explained his boundaries. He said he didn't kiss and hold hands with his girlfriend in front of his daughter, and kissing and swimming in the ocean in the middle of the night "didn't feel right."

Clare accepted his explanation and they cuddled in sweatpants and T-shirts. Juan Pablo gave her a rose, telling the camera, "Clare just has something going on that is so attractive to me... I get so hot talking about Clare!"

Earlier in the episode set in New Zealand, the former pro soccer player took Andi for a one-on-one date to a geyser. They rode a boat down the river which led them to a hot spring with a waterfall. They made out in the water.

They later had a dinner near a geyser and cuddled under a blanket. He gave her a rose as he believed, "She wants love. She wants a family. Just like me." Andi, meanwhile, said she felt like in "fantasy land" during their date.

Sharleen, Chelsie, Renee, Nikki, Kat and Cassandra were on a group date and despite complaining that they're on another group date, they had a fun moment. The girls rolled down hills in large balls filled with water called Ogo. Nikki was excited to have gotten to kiss Juan Pablo twice in the ball. Later the night, they went to visit the set of "Lord of the Rings" and "The Hobbit".

Cassandra, who turned 22 during the outing, hoped she got the rose on her birthday. But instead of getting her birthday wish, she was dumped by Juan Pablo before the Rose Ceremony. "I wish we were in the same chapter," he told her, before explaining that he wasn't feeling it with her.

He chose to send her home early so she wouldn't have to wait two more days to see her son. Cassandra was clearly disappointed although she kept her positive attitude in front of Juan Pablo. She cried in the limo and the rest of the girls were shocked. The group date rose, meanwhile, went to Sharleen.

At the cocktail party, Juan Pablo had some alone time with Renee, Chelsie and Kat. Kat opened up about how her dad, who was a horrible drunk, influenced her relationships with men.

At the rose ceremony, Juan Pablo gave the remaining roses to Nikki, Renee and Chelsie. Kat was eliminated and she admitted that she just didn't "get up to speed." Sharleen cried that Kat was sent home. "I'm happy to be here. I'm happy to be going on. I guess I just feel that it's wrong somehow," she told the camera. "Instead of feeling more certain, I'm feeling more doubtful each week. And to be honest, I can see other girls more suiting him better."
