See people's reactions as 'hungry zombies' are sent under a sidewalk grate in Union Square to shock pedestrians.

To remind fans of "" return, the show has staged a prank in New York. The show's team recently sent actors dressing as walkers under a sidewalk grate in Union Square to scare unsuspecting passersby.

A video documenting the preparation as well as people's reactions to the prank has landed online. In it, a young woman can been seen screaming while jumping away from the grate. The "zombies", however, are nice enough to ignore a little girl who is seemingly curious to know what's under the ground.

"The Walking Dead" returns with the second half of its fourth season on Sunday, February 9 at 9/8c on AMC. In the new episode titled "After", as Rick deals with old wounds, members of the prison have to come to terms with their new environment and ask themselves if survival alone is enough.
