The 43-year-old rapper has been chosen as Zimmerman's opponent in a celebrity boxing match which date and place will be announced on Wednesday.

George Zimmerman, who was acquitted of second-degree murder in the death of Trayvon Martin last year, will face in an upcoming celebrity boxing match. The boxing promoter Damon Feldman told TMZ that the 43-year-old rapper was chosen from 15,000 people who signed up for the match. Details about the date, time, and location will be announced next Wednesday.

DMX recently revealed what he wanted to do on the ring. "I am going to beat the living f**k out him ... I am breaking every rule in boxing to make sure I f**k him right up," he said, before adding that he wanted to literally piss on Zimmerman.

Zimmerman previously said he wanted to fight in a celebrity boxing match. "Boxing isn't new to me. It's something I had picked up well before the incident, and it's something that I liked, I enjoyed," he told Radar Online last month.

"I was actually going to the gym for weight loss and doing boxing-type training for weight loss and a mutual friend put me in contact with Damon and provided me with an opportunity and motivation to get back in shape and continue with my weight loss goals and also be able to help a charity out," Zimmerman said of his preparation for the boxing match. Proceeds from the match will go to a charity which has not been announced yet.

In late January, rapper offered to be Zimmerman's opponent. "I would not be boxing for me. I'd be boxing for the legacy of Trayvon Martin and for his family. I would box him to knock him out. I would definitely take pleasure in it. It's legal, and I want to show him you can solve your disputes without a weapon," the rapper said. Zimmerman previously was reported getting interested in fighting .
