AceShowbiz - Fall Out Boy and Hunter Hayes are among musicians who have covered songs from Elton John's iconic 1973 album "Goodbye Yellow Brick Road". The rock band and the country star's cover versions will be featured in the the album's reissue package, which will be released on March 24.
Emeli Sande, Ed Sheeran, The Band Perry and the Zac Brown Band have also made contributions to the upcoming box set that includes a Live at Hammersmith 1973 CD and a DVD of Bryan Forbes' 1973 film "Elton John and Bernie Taupin Say Goodbye to Norma Jean and Other Things" .
There will also be a 100-page illustrated hardback book packed with rare photos and memorabilia. The reissue album will be available in other formats, including CD, Blu-Ray, vinyl and limited-edition yellow vinyl.
The original version of "Goodbye Yellow Brick Road" spawned hit singles like "Bennie and the Jets", "Saturday Night's Alright for Fighting" and "Candle in the Wind". It spent eight weeks at No. 1 on Billboard 200.
