The 'Riddick' actor also reveals that 'people are suggesting Katy Perry as the new X girl' for the upcoming 'XXX: The Return of Xander Cage'.

AceShowbiz - Vin Diesel shares a tidbit on the upcoming third installment of "XXX" film franchise. The "Fast and Furious" star reveals in a new Facebook post that the script for "XXX: The Return of Xander Cage" is expected to arrive next month.
"As you know, the new 'XXX' script finally comes in next month," he spills, before adding, "And just this morning people are suggesting Katy Perry as the new X girl." He seems to love the idea of sharing screen with the singer, judging from his "/smile" note.
Like in the previous post where he dished on "Riddick" sequel, Diesel also plays and dances to Perry's "Dark Horse" in this new video. "P.s. Who would you like to see me work with this year?" he concluded his so-called "MouseBoard."
The previous video was meant as a thank-you message to his fans after "Riddick" became number one on the DVD charts. "It's a win for all of us. Really really want to thank you so much," he said. "Of course Universal said they want to develop the next one."
The video has gone viral and got a seal of approval from Perry herself. "YES VIN DIESEL," she exclaimed on Twitter.
The first "XXX" film came out in 2002 with Rob Cohen directing, and grossed more than $277 million. The follow-up, "XXX: State of the Union", arrived three years later with Ice Cube replacing Diesel on the lead and Lee Tamahori taking over the helming duty. It unfortunately didn't perform well, only collecting $71M against a reported budget of $113M.
The storyline for the third entry is still unknown, but it is expected to follow Diesel's Xander Cage who returns for a new tough assignment after years of absence.
