The 'Captain America: The First Avenger' actress is on board the Marvel TV project, which has tapped Tara Butters and Michele Fazekas as showrunners.

AceShowbiz - Another Marvel TV project on ABC is shaping up. Confirming the scoop first reported by Deadline, ABC Entertainment Group president Paul Lee has said that "Reaper" creators Tara Butters and Michele Fazekas are tapped as showrunners for potential "Agent Carter" series.

Lee made the announcement at the TCA winter press tour, where he also revealed that Jaimie Alexander's Sif would make appearance on "Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.". He gushed over the "Agent Carter" script written by "Captain America: The First Avenger" screenwriters Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely, "That certainly has a good chance to be on the network."

Furthermore, Lee confirmed that Hayley Atwell who played Steve Rogers' love interest in the first Captain America film would return for the potential TV series. "She's such a strong, wonderful character if you've seen the one-shot," showrunner Butters said of Peggy Carter. "We're happy to be involved."

"Agent Carter" is developed from a Marvel One-Shot featured in "Iron Man 3" DVD. It follows Peggy Carter who, a year after the events of "Captain America: The First Avenger", builds her career as a secret agent while the hero is frozen in ice.

In other ABC news, the network has revealed that it developed another "Toy Story" special after "Toy Story of TERROR!". This time, Woody and the gang will return for a Christmas special titled "Toy Story That Time Forgot".

According to the press release, "during a post-Christmas play date, the 'Toy Story' gang find themselves in uncharted territory when the coolest set of action figures ever turn out to be dangerously delusional. It's all up to Trixie, the triceratops, if the gang hopes to return to Bonnie's room."
