AceShowbiz - The full nomination list for the 45th NAACP Image Awards has been unveiled, revealing "Scandal" domination in TV field. The ABC sophomore show lands five nominations in three different categories, including Outstanding Drama Series. Another show created by Shonda Rhimes, "Grey's Anatomy", is also vying for the coveted title, joined by two HBO series "Boardwalk Empire" and "Treme", as well as CBS' "The Good Wife".
"Scandal" lead actress Kerry Washington, meanwhile, is named alongside Chandra Wilson ("Grey's Anatomy"), Khandi Alexander ("Treme"), Nicole Beharie ("Sleepy Hollow") and Regina King ("Southland") as contenders for Outstanding Actress in a Drama Series.
The show also puts its stars Columbus Short, Guillermo Diaz and Joe Morton in contention for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Drama Series. They face off "Boardwalk Empire" actors Jeffrey Wright and Michael Kenneth Williams.
In comedy categories, "Modern Family" is up for the top honor of Outstanding Comedy Series. The other nominees are "House of Lies", "Real Husbands of Hollywood", "The Game" and "The Soul Man".
Don Cheadle, Kevin Hart, Dule Hill, Andre Braugher and Cedric The Entertainer are facing off one another in Outstanding Actor in a Comedy Series category, while Mindy Kaling is battling it out against Aisha Tyler, Niecy Nash, Tasha Smith and Wendy Raquel Robinson for the best comedy actress honor.
