Video: Jennifer Hudson Surprised Her Assistant With a House for Christmas

A video which was uploaded by Hudson shows the 'Dreamgirls' actress' assistant flips out after learning that the star bought a house for him as a Christmas gift.

has shared an adorable video of her assistant and close friend, Walter Williams, who just learned that the star gave him a house as a Christmas gift. The former contestant of "" shared the short clip via Instagram on Tuesday, December 31.

The video sees Hudson's assistant holding a folder of paper which apparently are documents for the house. He then can be seen dropping the documents and screaming in joy before hugging the singer/actress who was sitting on a sofa. The video also records Williams' happy face as he holds the documents in his hands. "My assistant Walter's reaction when he found out I was buying him a house for Christmas!" the '' star captioned the video.

In addition to sharing a video of Williams' delightful reaction, the Oscar-winning star spoke of her best friend the next day. Uploading a photo of her playing in the snow, Hudson captioned the snap, "He dumped me in the snow yal! That damn Walter!!"

Hudson and Williams have been friends since they attended Yale Elementary. "Walter and I have been friends since sixth grade. He's by far my closest friend," the mother of one said in an interview with The Advocate in 2011.
