Despite a detailed report from Latin Times and a quote from her, the actress denied that she was cast in three Spanish-speaking shows.

AceShowbiz - Eva Longoria won't be in any telenovela anytime soon. The "Desperate Housewives" star denied that she had signed up to star in three Latin soap operas on Televisa including the remake of "Cuna de Lobos", which was a flop.

Latin Times was first to report the casting and even quoted Longoria as confirming that she was "thrilled to be a part of this amazing project". The publication noted that Longoria was eager to connect with Spanish-speaking audience and got the job through her boyfriend, president of Televisa, Jose Antonio Baston.

"Longoria has signed an exclusive contract with Televisa, locking her for three telenovelas starting with Cuna de Lobos, where she will play the infamous Catalina Creel," Latin Times wrote. In the detailed report, Longoria was to play William Levy's mother. "It will be interesting to see the chemistry between the two, because you might remember Catalina's unnatural devotion to her only son," the report said.

Longoria was quick to put the rumor to rest by tweeting, "How can people make stuff up and print it? Not one word of this is true! Even has fake quotes from me!" Off screen, Longoria works as the executive producer of Lifetime's "Devious Maids" which has recently received a green light for season 2.
