The series creator debunked the story that he and Jeff Daniels could not stand Munn's attitude on the set of the series.

AceShowbiz - Aaron Sorkin won't let his show "The Newsroom" be hit by ridiculous rumor. In a statement released to E! Online, Sorkin slammed the report from Radar Online that he and cast Jeff Daniels did not go along with star of the HBO series Olivia Munn.

The false report stated that Munn's "know it all attitude" is annoying Sorkin and Daniels. "Olivia and Aaron's relationship soured so completely during season two of The Newsroom that it created a poisonous atmosphere on the set," RadarOnline quoted a source as saying.

Radar also noted that Munn's role as economist and finance reporter was due to be "greatly diminished" by third season.

In response to it, Sorkin told E! News, "The story bears no resemblance to reality. Olivia is a perfect cast member who is loved and respected by the entire cast, by the crew and the producers, by HBO and especially by me."

HBO has not confirmed the return of the show for the third season, yet Daniels said after his Emmy win, "We're going to come back, we just don't know when yet. They're trying to work it out with Aaron and HBO and is deciding when they want to air it."
