The Grammy-winning femcee shows off her engagement ring on Instagram and thanks her followers for their outpouring congratulations.

AceShowbiz - Wedding bells are on the way for Eve. The 35-year-old female rapper confirmed that she's engaged to marry her beau, British fashion designer Maximillion Cooper, after dating him for more than three years. He proposed to her in Edinburgh, Scotland on Christmas Day, Us Weekly learns.
The bride-to-be proudly showed off her new diamond ring on Instagram. "#familytime!!!! Me and my mom and my lil brother Farrod just got to the English country side," so she wrote. "Feel so#blessed to be with my family and sharing my life here. I pray that you bring 2014 in with people you #love. And nothing but #good #energy."
"Thanku 2 everybody 4 your congratulations on our engagement! We wanted to celebrate with our family and friends 1st b4 announcing," she later added. "Going in to 2014 feeling #blessed #happy #loved and #ready for the next steps of #life with my #love @mrgumball3000."
Her fiance additionally wrote on his own page, "Yes it's official...I asked the question...and she said YES! WAHOOO! we're getting married!"
Eve met Cooper for the first time at the Gumball 3000, an international car rally he founded, when she participated for the first time four years ago. The couple has been splitting their time between the U.S. and U.K. It will be the first marriage for the Grammy winner, while Cooper has four children from a previous marriage.
In June this year, Eve openly talked to Chelsea Handler about her biracial romance. "I've never been the type of person to discriminate," she said. "But I honestly have to say I never thought I'd be with a white guy ever. But it just happened. It's amazing. I'm the first black girl he's ever been with too."
