AceShowbiz - The studio version of Drake's "Trophy" has finally arrived. On Sunday, December 29, the Toronto MC dropped the long-awaited song which was originally recorded for his Platinum-certified album, "Nothing Was the Same". He decided not to include the song in the album because he felt the hook wasn't right.
Produced by Hit-Boy, the two-and-a-half minute version features Drake rapping, "Man this s*** is not a love song, This a f*** a stripper on a mink rug song, This a f*** them boys forever, hold a grudge song... N****, just because song." The full version of the track will be released later.
"Trophy" came just a day after Drake unveiled the remix of Soulja Boy's "We Made It". "New Years Eve Anthems on deck," Drizzy tweeted and attached a link to the song.
The original track appears on Soulja's recent mixtape, "The King".
