Kate Middleton, who attends Christmas Day church service at Sandringham with Prince William, says Prince George is 'more interested in the wrapping paper than the presents.'

AceShowbiz - Prince George had a "lovely" first Christmas, according to his mother. The little prince did not join other royal family members as they attended Christmas Day church service at Sandringham. Kate Middleton, Prince William and other family members were welcomed by 3,000 people as they made their way to St. Mary Magdalene Church.

After the service, Middleton received flowers and stopped by a crowd member to chat. "She told me he was having a lovely day but was more interested in the wrapping paper than the presents," a 75-year-old Cicely Howard said, as quoted by Daily Mirror. The little prince's father added, "We've had a good morning with George and I can't wait until next year when he's bigger."

The Duchess of Cambridge looked stylish in an Alexander McQueen coat and a hat by Gina Foster during the service. She waved and flashed smiles to people who flocked the area. The mother of one received flowers from children as she left. Prince William, meanwhile, looked handsome in a black coat and red tie.

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge were joined by Prince Harry who still sported beard from his trip to South Pole with the charity Walking With the Wounded. Prince Harry went to the service alone, despite many reports which suggested that his girlfriend Cressida Bonas would join him. The Queen, Prince Philip, Prince Andrew, Prince Edward, Zara Phillips and her husband Mike Tindall, and others were also in attendance.
