In her new documentary, the 'Work B**ch' singer says that she will include the song in the second set of her 'Piece of Me' show since 'it will be a single' by then.

AceShowbiz - Britney Spears has decided to release "Alien" as the future single off her latest album, "Britney Jean". The 32-year-old diva and her manager, Larry Rudolph, revealed the news in "I Am Britney Jean" documentary which aired on Sunday night, December 22.

In the documentary, Spears talked about her upcoming Las Vegas residency which will begin on December 27. She considered to include "Alien" on the setlist of her "Piece of Me" show, but then decided to include the song in the second set of the show.

"I was thinking about for the show maybe using 'Alien' for the second set of shows because it will be out by the time," Spears told her manager. "It will be a single. I think it just makes more sense to put it out then."

"At that point it will be a single anyway," Rudolph responded.

"Alien" was written by William Orbit, who has previously worked with the likes of Madonna and Blur. "Britney Jean" has so far spawned two singles, "Work B**ch" and "Perfume".
