In a documentary special 'I Am Britney Jean', the 'Perfume' singer says that she is actually shy and says, 'I'm not really made for this industry.'

AceShowbiz - Britney Spears talked about shyness, anxiety and the entertainment industry in an E! documentary "I Am Britney Jean". In the show which aired on Sunday, December 22, the pop star who is known for her sexy music videos and dance moves explained her struggle in the industry, saying that she might not be suitable for the job.

"This is all I've known all my life - cameras, being followed, being part of the industry," she said. The 32-year-old pop star also thought that her shy personality made it difficult to be in the entertainment world. "I have always been kind of shy, since I was a little girl. It's who I am to be modest, so I really can't help it. I turn into this different person ... seriously, bipolar disorder," Spears explained. "I'm not really made for this industry."

The mother of two also recalled moments when she broke down in 2007 and had to take a break from the spotlight. "There was a time in my life when I couldn't ever leave the house without 20 cars following me. I felt very alienated from the public. But as time passed, they lightened up and they kind of went away after I wouldn't come out of the house for like two years," she shared.

"I Am Britney Jean" documented Spears' preparation for her Las Vegas show. "This is a big year for me, it's the first show I've done in two years ... I am trying to let myself relax a little bit but not too much because I know that I have a lot ahead of me," Spears said. Her two-year residency will start on December 27 at the Planet Hollywood Resort and Casino.
