A representative has confirmed that Jones and her longtime girlfriend tie the knot at their Los Angeles home after getting engaged in October.

AceShowbiz - Happy news comes from "Glee" star Dot Jones. The actress, who plays Coach Shannon Beiste on the popular FOX series, married her longtime girlfriend Bridgett Casteen on Saturday, December 21, a representative confirmed to PEOPLE.

Gathering close friends and family members for a supposed holiday party at their home in Los Angeles, Jones and Casteen surprised the guests as the bash turned out to be a wedding ceremony. "Oh happy day!" Casteen wrote in a Twitter post. This is the first marriage for Jones and the second for Casteen. She has two children from a previous relationship.

In October, Jones popped the question near Disneyland Resort's Sleeping Beauty Castle in Anaheim, Calif. after three years of dating. She talked about her engagement during Anaheim Gay Days, an annual event that gathered thousands of LGBT visitors and supporters at the amusement park. "It's the happiest day of my life. I never thought I'd find somebody that is so loving and kind," she said, as quoted by The Advocate.

The newly-engaged Casteen took to Twitter to share the happy news after the proposal. "Thank you @dotmariejones for making me the happiest woman in the world, #engaged," she wrote back then. On December 18, she shared a photo of her and Jones as they celebrated their anniversary together. "Happy Anniversary to this amazing woman! I love you beyond words!" she captioned the snap.
