Fallon and Kenan Thompson get pelted with snowballs after lying that musical guest Timberlake won't make it to the show this weekend because his flight is canceled.

AceShowbiz - "Saturday Night Live" releases a three-minute promo for this week's episode hosted by Jimmy Fallon. Instead of promoting his hosting gig, the comedian hypes up Justin Timberlake's return while the singer/actor himself doesn't appear in the clip.

Fallon and Kenan Thompson brave the cold to film the video outdoor on a snowy day in New York. The two get pelted with snowballs when lying that Timberlake, who will serve as musical guest, can't make it to the show because his flight is unexpectedly canceled.

In the next sketch, Thompson hides his face behind a scarf and pretends to be Timberlake, but he mentions the wrong title of Timberlake's song. The "SNL" alum and the current "SNL" regular later hum JT's song "Mirrors".

Fallon additonally shows his musical skill. Playing a guitar, he is joined by Kate McKinnon to deliver a short musical number.

The Christmas episode hosted by Fallon will air December 21 at 11:30 P.M./10:30c on NBC. It will be the second time Fallon hosts the show. As for Timberlake, he has hosted the show five times and his next appearance will be his fifth as musical guest.
