In an interview with Elle magazine, the Legolas depicter talks about love, saying, 'I really believe in, you know, that sort of heart-to-heart connection.'

AceShowbiz - Orlando Bloom dishes on his view about love and being full frontal for his upcoming movie in an interview with Elle magazine. The actor, who plays elf-prince Legolas in his most-recent movie "The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug", says in the January issue that he still believes in love after splitting from wife Miranda Kerr.

"I'm completely in love with the idea of love. Maybe I'm all misty about it because I'm playing Romeo. But I really believe in, you know, that sort of heart-to-heart connection," Bloom says, referring to his role on Broadway's revival of "Romeo and Juliet". When asked if he still remembers the first time meeting Kerr, he answers, "Um, I do. I do." He, however, refuses to elaborate when the interviewer probes deeper, saying, "It was a lot of things. And actually, I'd rather not talk about it."

While many people describe the father of one as "swashbuckling," Bloom does not feel so. "I'm sure I was a great disappointment to many women because I wasn't Errol Flynn. I'm me. I think that's got some merit," he insists.

Speaking of going full frontal in "Zulu", Bloom admits, "I got in the best shape of my life for that movie. It was quite amusing walking around set and seeing the crew avert their eyes at first. Then there were a few more people watching playback. I got so comfortable with it I could brush up behind someone and go, 'Oh, excuse me.' " When asked if it was empowering, the actor says, "It was. Dude, it is what it is. It's flesh and bone. It's what we all are."
