CBS has given the long-running reality show its vote of confidence, renewing it for the 2014-2015 run.

AceShowbiz - "Survivor" is renewed through season 30. CBS has ordered two more editions of the long-running reality series in addition to securing Jeff Probst's position and executive producer of the show further.
" 'Survivor' has been blessed with incredibly loyal fans," Probst said in a statement. "We make this show for them and I am thrilled that we get to do it again." Exec producer Mark Burnett added, "I am thrilled that our fans get to continue their love affair with 'Survivor' on CBS through 2015. This current season has become one of the most-loved seasons ever and I promise our fans to make season 29 and 30 even better."
"Survivor continues to set the bar for outstanding production values, compelling storytelling while delivering fresh new adventures every season," CBS Entertainment president Nina Tassler said in a statement. "The show's enduring success is a testament to the creativity and passion of Mark Burnett and Jeff Probst, and an amazing production team."
The 29th and 30th editions will air during the 2014-2015 season. The show is currently in its 27th edition, which will come to an end this Sunday, December 15 with a two-hour finale beginning at 8 P.M. ET on CBS. It will be followed by a reunion show hosted by Probst. The 28th edition has finished filming and will premiere in Spring. It is a "direct response to the fans," Probst told THR. Burnett also hinted that the next season will examine "what kind of person is most likely to win Survivor."
