When referring to his performance of 'Can't Tell Me Nothing' and 'Coldest Winter', West says in an interview, 'This is like being a police officer or something, in war or something.'

AceShowbiz - Kanye West says the risk of his performance onstage is like a police officer's work or being in a war. The rapper made the comment in a radio interview with Saturday Night Online, saying that he risked his life with the stage maneuver.

"I'm just giving of my body on the stage and putting my life at risk, literally," he told the radio's host, referring to stage acts where he stands on a moving mountain. "When I think about when I'm on the 'Can't Tell Me Nothing,' and 'Coldest Winter' moment, like that mountain goes really, really high. And if I slipped ... You never know. And I think about it. I think about my family and I'm like, 'Wow, this is like being a police officer or something, in war or something,' " he said.

"You're literally going out to do your job every day knowing that something could happen to you," he continued saying. "Something could happen to you verbally from the press bashing you; something could happen to you from people not liking you anymore 'cause of your records or you could actually slip on that stage." Kim Kardashian's fiance added, "I'll explain to my daughter one day that me and her mother, we had to fight for this position that we'll finally have."

In the interview, he also talked about his self-declared "creative genius" label. West explained, "When I say 'creative genius' it's not a compliment to myself, it's a plague. To be able to have all these ideas and not get them out. That's painful."
