The Alfonso Cuaron film dominates with four awards, while the Spike Jonze movie snags a total of two prizes from the L.A. Film Critics Association.

AceShowbiz - Los Angeles Film Critics Association names two winners for Best Picture of 2013. Alfonso Cuaron's space drama thriller "Gravity" and Spike Jonze's sci-fi romance "Her" tie for the top honor. But Cuaron manages to rise above Jonze in Best Director category. The former wins the title, while the latter settles as a runner-up.
There are two other ties in the voting Sunday, December 8. Cate Blanchett ("Blue Jasmine") takes home Best Actress honor along with Adele Exarchopoulos ("Blue Is the Warmest Color), and James Franco ("Spring Breakers") wins Best Supporting Actor title alongside Jared Leto ("Dallas Buyers Club").
As for Best Actor, the coveted prize goes to "Nebraska" star Bruce Dern, with "12 Years a Slave" actor Chiwetel Ejiofor as a runner-up. Ejiofor's co-star Lupita Nyong'o, meanwhile, grabs Best Supporting Actress and Dern's fellow cast member June Squibb is a runner-up in the category.
"Gravity" that stars Sandra Bullock and George Clooney wins two more prestigious prizes, Best Cinematography for Emmanuel Lubezki and Best Film Editing for Cuaron and Mark Sanger.
"Her" led by Joaquin Phoenix and voiced by Scarlett Johansson bags a second award for Best Production Design, thanks to K.K. Barrett's work. On top of that, the film's producer Megan Ellison who also produces another critic darling "American Hustle" is named New Generation.
