AceShowbiz - One Direction's "Midnight Memories" has debuted at No. 1 on Billboard 200 with 546,000 copies, Nielsen SoundScan reports. It marks the British/Irish boyband's third studio effort to top the chart after debut album "Up All Night" and 2012 set "Take Me Home".

The band, comprised of Harry Styles, Zayn Malik, Liam Payne, Louis Tomlinson and Niall Horan, is only the third pop group in Nielsen SoundScan's history to have their album debuted with 500,000 or more. Previous boybands to do so were NSYNC and Backstreet Boys.

Last week's No. 1 Eminem's "MMLP2" falls one rung to No. 2 despite a 65% sales gain. Thanks to Black Friday promo, the second installment of the rapper's 2000 album "The Marshall Mathers LP" has sold additional 199,000 in its fourth week.

Arriving at No. 3 is Garth Brooks' "Blame It All on My Roots", a Walmart-exclusive six-CD/two-DVD box that started with a sale price of $24.96 on Thanksgiving. Less than four days after being made available for purchase, the album moved 164,000 units.

Remaining steady at No. 4, the Robertsons' "Duck the Halls: A Robertson Family Christmas" has sold 137,000. Meanwhile, Katy Perry's "Prism" returns to the top 10, going to No. 5 from No. 11 with 136,000.

Kelly Clarkson's "Wrapped in Red" and Lady GaGa's "ARTPOP" climb to No. 6 and No. 7 with 131,000 and 116,000, respectively. Selling 109.000, Luke Bryan's "Crash My Party" rises from No. 15-8. Miley Cyrus' "Bangerz" comes at No. 9 with 79,000 while the "Now 48" album rounds out the top 10 with 77,000.
