Director James Wan and executives at Universal are discussing how to proceed to honor the recently-deceased actor's legacy.

AceShowbiz - In the wake of Paul Walker's passing, "Fast and Furious 7" postpones its production. The movie was on a brief hiatus for Thanksgiving and was supposed to resume production in Atlanta on Sunday, December 1. The plan is now put on hold following the tragic car crash that killed Walker.
The Hollywood Reporter learns that director James Wan and Universal executives have held a conference call Sunday morning to discuss the state of the film. They were deciding whether rewrites would be necessary and how to proceed in a manner that would be respectful to Walker's death.
Walker, 40, died in a single car accident after leaving a charity event benefitting Typhoon Haiyan victims. He was a passenger in Roger Rodas' Porsche which burst into flames after it slammed into a tree. The actor is survived by his 15-year-old daughter Meadow, while the former pro racer leaves behind his wife and two children.
His death left his extended family at the "Fast and Furious" movie franchise devastated. "Brother I will miss you very much. I am absolutely speechless. Heaven has gained a new Angel. Rest in Peace," co-star Vin Diesel tweeted along with a picture of them together.
"My brother and I.....we aimed for the stars together....and achieved more than we ever hoped we could with f&f," he added. "Although I'm totally heartbroken to of lost a brother....I feel honoured and blessed to of known such a wonderful guy."
Tyrese Gibson wrote on Instagram, "My heart is hurting so bad no one can make me believe this is real. Father God I pray that you send clarity over this cause I just don't understand My heart hurts it's broken no one can convince me that this is real...."
"Prayer warriors please pray real hard for his only child, his daughter and family... #HeartOfAnAngel13YrsFamilyForeverWeJustCelebreatedYour40thBirthday..... My God... My God... I can't."
Ludacris also issued a solemn note, "Your humble spirit was felt from the start, wherever you blessed your presence you always left a mark, we were like brothers & our birthdays are only 1 day apart, now You will forever hold a place in all of our hearts @paulwalker legacy will live on forever. R.I.P."
Another co-star Jordana Brewster tweeted, "Paul was pure light. I cannot believe he is gone." Sung Kang posted, "Missing my brother..." James Wan wrote, "I am so beyond heartbroken right now. I can't process anything."
Former "Fast & Furious" director, Justin Lin, tweeted, "In a business that barely requires it, @RealPaulWalker was relentlessly selfless, genuine & trying to be better every day. Love you brother."
