Christopher Nolan's 'Interstellar' Trailer to Debut Before 'The Hobbit 2'

The first trailer will be unearthed in front of Peter Jackson's 'The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug' which arrives in theaters on December 13.

AceShowbiz - When the first official sneak peek at Christopher Nolan-directed much-awaited sci-fi "Interstellar" will come out has been revealed. It's confirmed that the trailer is scheduled to premiere in front of "The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug" next month.

"The first trailer for Christopher Nolan's 'Interstellar' is 1 minute and 43 seconds, attached to 'The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug'," it's announced on Twitter. "The Hobbit 2" will hit theaters Stateside on December 13, while "Interstellar" is due November 7, 2014.

"Interstellar" is Nolan's first directing vehicle since 2012's "The Dark Knight Rises". It stars such A-listers as Matthew McConaughey, Anne Hathaway, Jessica Chastain, Casey Affleck, Mackenzie Foy and David Oyelowo.

The film chronicles the adventures of a group of explorers who make use of a newly discovered wormhole to surpass the limitations on human space travel and conquer the vast distances involved in an interstellar voyage.
