AceShowbiz - After being teased with a short preview a few days ago, the music video for Eminem's "Rap God" arrived in full on Wednesday, November 27. The six-minute video sees the Detroit MC donning a black suit while rapping and channeling the first-ever computer-generated TV host Max Headroom.
The Slim Shady is also featured hopping through portals as if he's playing a real-life version of "Portal" video game. The clip concludes with Em, who's wearing a gray hoodie and a backpack as he raps in the middle of a crowd, asking, "Why be a king when you can be a God?"
This music video was directed by Rich Lee and shot at the Russell Industrial Center in Detroit. Lee has worked with Eminem for some of the rapper's videos, including "Lighters" and "Not Afraid".
"Rap God" is a track off "MMLP2", Eminem's latest album that debuted at No. 1 on Billboard 200 after it was released earlier this month. Last week, the record fell to No. 2 after being dethroned by Lady GaGa's "ARTPOP". This week, the 41-year-old rapper's masterpiece returned to No. 1 with 120,000.
Eminem is currently preparing another music video. Last week, he posted some Instagram pictures that showed him filming "The Monster" clip with Rihanna. The release date of the upcoming visuals is still kept under the wraps.
