AceShowbiz - Joan Rivers defends Alec Baldwin, who recently parted ways with MSNBC because of his gay slur tirade, using a string of racial and gay slur herself. The comedienne met a TMZ videographer outside of Canter's Deli in L.A. and was captured on camera making explicit rant.

"Everybody just relax," Rivers said. "Everybody's either a w*p, a n****r, a k**e, a c***k, a fairy, or a m**k. Everybody's something so why don't we all calm down." She added, "Be thankful that we're all living in America, and stop, everybody, being so damn uptight."

On November 26, MSNBC and Baldwin's camp announced that they had parted ways. "We are jointly confirming that 'Up Late' will not continue on MSNBC," the two parties said. "This is a mutual parting and we wish Alec all the best," MSNBC added.

The move was made following Baldwin's gay slur against a photographer earlier this month. After winning court battle against Genevieve Sabourin, who was accused of stalking Baldwin, the "30 Rock" star exploded outside his apartment when a photographer got close to his wife and baby daughter. At that time, Baldwin was reported calling the paparazzo a "c***sucking f**."

Baldwin apologized on his website when his show got suspended because of his action. "I did not intend to hurt or offend anyone with my choice of words, but clearly I have - and for that I am deeply sorry. Words are important. I understand that, and will choose mine with great care going forward. What I said and did this week, as I was trying to protect my family, was offensive and unacceptable. Behavior like this undermines hard-fought rights that I vigorously support. I understand 'Up Late' will be taken off the schedule for tonight and next week," he said.

Baldwin continued, "I want to apologize to my loyal fans and to my colleagues at msnbc -- both for my actions and for distracting from their good work. Again, please accept my apology."
