Katrina Law will guest star as Nyssa al Ghul, who is a member of the League of Assassins.

AceShowbiz - "Arrow" will feature Ra's al Ghul's daughter in an upcoming episode, but not the one which fans recently saw in "The Dark Knight Rises". Nyssa al Ghul, Ra's al Ghul love child, will make appearance on the CW series with former "Spartacus" star Katrina Law cast in the role.

According to TV Guide, Nyssa is described as a powerful member of the League of Assassins who comes to Starling City in pursuit of The Canary (Caity Lotz) on "Arrow". She's the half-sister of Talia al Ghul, who's portrayed by Marion Cotillard in the last installment of Christopher Nolan's Batman trilogy.

Law, who played a slave named Mira on Starz's historical drama series, will make her debut on "Arrow" in the 13th episode of season 2 titled "Heir to the Demon". She will reunite with her former "Spartacus" co-stars Manu Bennett and Cynthia Addai-Robinson on the superhero series.

In other "Arrow" news, The CW has just unveiled the new mask for Oliver Queen's alter ego. To Entertainment Weekly which has got its hand on the first photos of the mask, executive producer Andrew Kreisberg explains why Arrow needs the new accessory.

"Conceptually, it was something we wanted to do because Oliver himself is evolving as the Arrow - from vigilante to hero, sort of from Arrow to Green Arrow - and we wanted to see that progression in his costume as well," he says. "As Oliver is embracing being a hero, being a hero means stepping out of the dark and being more of a symbol, so he has to take steps to conceal his identity more."

He goes on reasoning, "It's going to allow the Arrow to interact with people who don't know his identity in a much more organic way than having him constantly keep his head down."

"Arrow" airs Wednesdays at 8/7c on The CW.
