The shock jock will be back for his third year as a judge on the show despite needing free time.

AceShowbiz - Howard Stern confirms that he will return to the judging table of NBC's "America's Got Talent". The radio personality shared the news on his SiriusXM radio show on Tuesday, November 19 that the ninth season could be his last.

"It started out as a goof. Now it's becoming a job," the 59-year-old shared. "I am very excited to be going back to America's Got Talent. I will go back [for] one more season." One of his reasons is the attention he got. "I really, really did struggle with this decision because ...I've been working a long time," he said.

"I really wanted to decide if this was going to take away too much ...free time. Did I really still enjoy doing it? Did I have something to say? Is it something I should be involved with still? I decided I needed a personal life, but that big black hole in me that demands attention ...it won."

The upcoming season, which debuts next year will be Howard's third year. Nick Cannon has also confirmed his return to the show as host while Stern dished out that Howie Mandel, Melanie Brown and Heidi Klum would be back as well. "[They are] lovely people," he said, "and if they want to come back, God bless them."
