The Texas-born pop sensation, who is currently working on his debut album, says that he wants to collaborate with fellow Young Money artist whom he calls his 'biggest inspiration', Drake.

AceShowbiz - The world's next pop sensation is here. Austin Mahone entered the music industry after posting his videos on YouTube back in 2010. He released his singles, including "11:11" and "Say Somethin'", before signing to Chase/Universal Republic Records in 2012.

After releasing a single called "What About Love" earlier this year, Mahone announced that he's signed to Cash Money Records. His first single under the label arrived in early November and it's called "Banga! Banga!".

In a recent interview with J-14, Mahone said that he was sure the R&B-tinged new song would be a hit. "I'm really excited about ["Banga! Banga!"] - I know my fans are going to really love it," the 17-year-old singer said.

"I wrote 'Banga! Banga!' with Sean Garrett," he revealed. "He's worked with Fergie [a.k.a. Stacy Ferguson] - he did 'London Bridge' for her - he's worked with Chris Brown, he's worked with so many amazing artists. I'm confident this song is going to be huge."

Mahone is currently readying his debut album, reportedly entitled "Junior Year". He went on to tell the site that another "amazing" song entitled "Til' I Find You" would also be included in the record that is expected to be released next year.

" 'Til' I Find You' I recorded with RedOne - I recorded a lot of songs with RedOne, as well as 'What About Love', my previous single," Mahone explained. "He's worked with so many amazing artists and we have so many amazing songs written together."

Mahone has also expressed his desire to work with some big musicians in the near future. The Texas-born star is dreaming of collaborating with his labelmate whom he calls his "biggest inspiration", Drake.

"I just think he's really good musically, he's very lyrical," Mahone praised the "Started From the Bottom" rapper in an interview during the U.S. telecast of the MTV Europe Music Awards. "I mean I'm signed to Cash Money, so hopefully I'll get a song with him. I mean he's my biggest inspiration so that'd be pretty cool."

Mahone also said he would like to work with Jason Derulo, adding, "I know Jordin Sparks said she wanted to do a duet with me, so that'd be really cool."

After being hospitalized with a blood clot and dehydration last month, Mahone is now fully recovered. The tour with MTV which was scrapped due to the star's illness has been rescheduled for next year.
