AceShowbiz - Rihanna lets fans take a peek inside the anticipated music video for her single, "What Now". The 25-year-old singer has dropped a 35-second preview that features her screaming and whipping her head back and forth while singing the heartbreaking ballad.
Previously on Wednesday, November 13, Rihanna released a behind-the-scene video and revealed what to expect from her upcoming project. "It's gonna be kinda eery, very creepy because 'What Now' is one of those songs that you can get really boring with the visual," the star said.
"Everybody's probably expecting like a narrative type of video, a love story of some sorts, something really soft and pretty. It is pretty and kinda soft, but it's really a little demented," she continued.
"What Now" is the fifth cut off "Unapologetic", Rihanna's latest album that was released last year. The full version of the video, which was shot in Thailand, will arrive on Friday, November 15.
In other Rihanna news, the Bajan beauty will be honored at the 2013 American Music Awards with its Icon Award. She will be the first artist to receive this honorary award, according to the Los Angeles Times.
"The first-ever Icon Award was created to honor an artist whose body of work has made a profound influence over pop music on a global level," said AMAs producer Larry Klein. "Rihanna's iconic and innovative sound has enabled her to become one of the most influential and best-selling artists of all time."
