Russell Crowe Facing Massive Flood in Two 'Noah' Trailers
Movie

People see Noah as a mad man rather than a true prophet when he warns them about the judgment day.

AceShowbiz - Two trailers, one of which is an international version, for Darren Aronofsky's epic biblical flick "Noah" have officially arrived. The God's eponymous messenger played by Russell Crowe is attempting to warn his people about a terrifying punishment sent in a form of massive flood. "I saw water. Death by water. And I saw new life," he says.

It starts with Noah waking up from a dream where he gets divine visions foretelling the end of the world. Methuselah (Anthony Hopkins) tells him, "My father said that one day, if man continued in his ways, the creator would annihilate this world. He speaks to you. You must trust that he speaks in a way you can understand."

Noah tries to tell people this, but no one is listening. Instead, he and his family are cast out to the forest where they build a giant Ark. But the villagers won't leave them alone and march to the wilderness to confront them. Their arrogant leader Tubal-cain (Ray Winstone) naturally assumes that the ark is built to protect them from his angry army.

Directed by "Black Swan" helmer Darren Aronofsky, "Noah" is also supported by Jennifer Connelly and Emma Watson as Noah's wife and daughter respectively. Logan Lerman and Douglas Booth star as his sons. The film is set for a March 28, 2014 release in the U.S.
