The former 'Smash' star is reportedly going through a difficult time because her relationship with Michael Morris did not work too.

AceShowbiz - Katharine McPhee's life is spiraling down now that she is no longer together with the man who broke two marriages. The former "American Idol" finalist has split from Michael Morris, married director who directed her in the now-canceled series "Smash".
McPhee and Morris were photographed locking lips on October 22 when they were both still married to their respective spouses. Morris reportedly got kicked out of the house by actress wife Mary McCormack after she learned about the photos. Meanwhile, McPhee's marriage to producer Nick Cokas was allegedly over half a year ago.
Despite risking it all, McPhee and Morris did not last long. "Katharine is no longer seeing Michael - at least for now," a source told People. The source added, "This is an incredibly hard time for Katharine."
Morris was indeed seen stepping out with wife on October 26 in Los Angeles while McPhee was solo when she was spotted in public for the first time since the affair made the news. She came out of the hiding on November 6 in LA.
McPhee and Cokas, who were married in 2009, are still in the state of limbo. "Katharine still has no plans to move forward with divorce at the moment, though they are not living together," the source continued. Meanwhile, McCormack is choosing to focus on her three young daughters. "Mary is a strong woman," another source told People. "Her dedication to her children will remain her focus and gift.�
