The 'Lone Survivor' actor sparks rumor that he's taking a jab at fellow actor Tom Cruise when saying that working on set is nothing compared to going to war.

AceShowbiz - Mark Wahlberg gave an emotional speech when taking the stage at the TCL Chinese Theatre during the premiere of "Lone Survivor" at AFI Fest. The actor dropped an expletive rant when the festival's director Jacqueline Lyanga asked him about his experience filming the war film.
"For actors to sit there and talk about 'Oh I went to SEAL training,' and I slept on the - I don't give a f**k what you did. You don't do what these guys did," he said. "For somebody to sit there and say my job was as difficult as somebody in the military's. How f**king dare you. While you sit in a makeup chair for two hours."
"I don't give a s**t if you get you're a** busted. You get to go home at the end of the day. You get to go to your hotel room. You get to order your f**king chicken. Or your steak. Whatever the f**k it is," he passionately added.
"I've done the movies where I talk about God. I trained for four and a half years and I was 'The Fighter' and ... f**k all that. It really means nothing. I love Marcus for what he's done," he referred to the real-life soldier whom he portrayed in the movie, "And I'm a very lucky guy to do what I do and I'm proud to have been part of it, but it's just so much bigger than what I do."
"I'm sorry for losing my s**t," Wahlberg later said. "Don't ask any more questions tonight." Director Pete Berg tried to defend the actor, "It's been a long night," to which he replied, "No, it's just getting started. I'm gonna find my f**king second wind and we're gonna celebrate this f**kin' movie. ... just don't ask me any more questions."
While the "Ted" actor didn't mention any names, many quickly linked his F-bombed speech to Tom Cruise's controversial comment quoted from a court deposition as part of his multi-million dollar legal battle against Life & Style and In Touch.
In the deposition, the "Jack Reacher" actor supposedly compared his work as an actor to a soldier fighting in war, "I didn't hear the Afghanistan [part], but that's what it feels like, and certainly on this last movie ['Edge of Tomorrow'], it was brutal. It was brutal."
But his lawyer insisted the quote was "a gross distortion of the record." The attorney explained, "What Tom said, laughingly, was that sometimes 'that's what it feels like.' As the video shows, he and the lawyer were laughing at his answer, and, when asked in the next question if the situations were comparable, Tom said 'Oh, come on,' meaning of course not."
When asked by TMZ about the matter, Mark says through his representative that he loves Cruise and was in no way referencing the former husband of Katie Holmes in his comments.
