Baldwin wipes away a tear as he tells the court that the alleged stalker, Genevieve Sabourin, ruined his engagement day with his now-wife Hilaria Thomas.

AceShowbiz - Alec Baldwin got emotional as he testified against an accused stalker in a trial which took place on Tuesday, November 12. During the court session, Baldwin said that the alleged stalker, Genevieve Sabourin, showed up at his house and ruined his engagement day to his now-wife, Hilaria Thomas.

As reported by Reuters, the "30 Rock" actor also told the New York Criminal Court in lower Manhattan that Sabourin threatened to enter his home as well as workplace. "That's when I knew she was dangerous," Baldwin said.

Baldwin claimed that Sabourin, who was charged with 24 counts of harassment and stalking, sent numerous e-mails, saying that she wanted to make a "massive destructive war" against the actor and became his wife. Besides, Hilaria testified that the Montreal actress harassed her on Twitter when she was pregnant with her and Baldwin's daughter. "It feels like there's nothing we can do to make this stop," she said.

During the trial, Sabourin's attorney argued that the 41-year-old actress had personal relationship with Baldwin and they exchanged e-mails for a year. The actor claimed that he "erred on the side of kindness" by replying the e-mails as requested by his friend, movie producer Martin Bregman.

Bregman, however, said that Baldwin was lying in regards to his relationship with Sabourin. "He's lying," the "Scarface" producer told New York Daily News, referring to Baldwin's statement that he never had sex with Sabourin. "He was screwing two women. One of them is his present wife and the other one, I presume, he was doing the girl in question."

"To sidestep any involvement with (Sabourin), he made up a report," Bregman continued, adding that Baldwin's move was "pretty stupid." Sabourin repeatedly made scenes when Baldwin denied they had romantic relationship. She is expected to take the stand on Wednesday.
