Billie Piper's Rose Tyler says, "The moment is coming." Jenna Coleman's Clara Oswald is also featured in the trailer, crying at one point.

The 75-minute special will air simultaneously in countries around the world on November 23. John Hurt stars as a myterious past incarnation of the Doctor and Jemma Redgrave plays the Brigadier's daughter Kate Stewart.

Explaining the episode's title, showrunner Steven Moffat who wrote the said outing tells The Hollywood Reporter, "The question was: what was the most important thing that happened to the Doctor, the day the Doctor won't forget. It will redefine him."

He goes on teasing, "It's quite a dark episode. It's quite a serious episode. We start to move the Doctor into a place, and you'll start to see we've been moving him into that direction for a while."

Matt Smith, who plays the 11th incarnation of the Doctor, dishes on what happens when more than one Doctor gather. "They disapprove of each other, they get along. It sort of ebbs and flows," he says, adding that "David's is more swashbuckling than mine."
