'Lone Survivor' Second Trailer: Calling for Backup

Taylor Kitsch plays a leader of a failed mission to capture or kill a high-ranked Taliban member in Afghanistan.

A new trailer for true-story film "" is released. One of the new footage shows Lt. Michael P. Murphy () trying to call HQ for reinforcements. Another sees HM1 Marcus Luttrell () talking to Mike about a girl named Melissa from a concert.

The film follows a group of four soldiers on an ill-fated covert mission to neutralize a high-level Taliban operative when they are ambushed by enemy forces in the Hindu Kush region of Afghanistan. It's based on a nonfiction best-selling book written by none other than the lone survivor himself, Marcus.

Directed by Peter Berg, the movie also stars , , and . It is scheduled for a limited release on December 27, before hitting theaters nationwide on January 10, 2014.
