The 'Talk' co-host regrets that she told Jenny McCarthy, Sherri Shepherd and Whoopi Goldberg to 'f**k themselves,' claiming, 'I'm not a person that is mean.'

AceShowbiz - Sharon Osbourne has expressed her remorse for attacking "The View" hosts. On a Thursday, November 7 episode of "The Talk", the wife of rocker Ozzy Osbourne said, "I have to own this, I'm fully responsible for myself... and unfortunately I was inappropriate and I was trying to be funny at somebody else's expense."

"I want to apologize to Jenny [McCarthy], Sherri [Shepherd] and Whoopi [Goldberg], who are all accomplished, self-made women who have amazing careers. They have achieved so much," she continued. "Please understand, it was my irreverent, irreverent behavior and no disrespect meant. And I'm not a person that is mean. I'm really not and I apologize."

Osbourne was backed by her co-host Julie Chen, who claimed "The Talk" hosts had been asked to compare themselves to "The View" ladies over the last four years. She said, "It was a joke. That's what everyone needs to know. We love the ladies of 'The View'."

Previously on "The Arsenio Hall Show", Osbourne used profane language when asked about the hosts of rival show "The View". While she called host and co-creator Barbara Walters "divine" and "superhuman," the former "America's Got Talent" judge said, "The rest can go f**k themselves."

Jenny McCarthy, however, wasn't really upset at Osbourne as saying, "Sharon and I've been friends a very long time. She sent me roses two weeks ago, so who knows what her intentions were, but I love [Sharon] and I love 'The Talk'."

Sherri Shepherd, meanwhile, took a jab at the English author when responding to a Twitter user who accused her of being "the most racist, non comical, non Christian blob of bitternes." Shepherd replied to it with, "well... ma'am it's your opinion... there's always Sharon Osbourne."
