The James Bond boss is brought back from the dead in a campaign to get the Motion Picture Association of America to give the Dench-starring dramedy a more friendly PG-13 rating.

AceShowbiz - The Weinstein Co. enlists M's help to protest the R rating given by MPAA to "Philomena". The movie's star Judi Dench reprises her role as James Bond's tough boss in a viral video to send message to the people at the Motion Picture Association of America.
The short clip is a teaser to a Funny or Die video due to premiere soon. "Just when you thought I was dead," M says after spinning around in her office chair. She then leans to the camera while saying, "I have an important mission for you. Are you familiar with MPAA?"
"With the blessing of Barbara Broccoli and the Bond team, M has returned from the dead to fight this battle," Harvey Weinstein says. "The appeal is on Wednesday, and M has risen from the dead."
Starring Dench and Steve Coogan, the dramedy was rated R for using F-word twice. Weinstein insists the language is "not gratuitous" since it's used in nonsexual context. He says removing the second f-word would be like "asking the director to change the intention" of the film.
"They should just put PG-13 strong language on this," he says. "The PG-13 rating is very important for adults. There's a certain group of people who do not want to go and see an R-rated movie. Usually they're church families, and I think this is a movie that church families would profit by seeing. I think they'll love the movie - it's very entertaining."
The movie is gearing up for its U.S. release on November 27.
