Report: Dick Grayson Could Appear in 'Man of Steel 2'
Movie

The Caped Crusader reportedly will be accompanied by his young sidekick in the upcoming Superman vs. Batman movie.

AceShowbiz - As Wonder Woman rumor is running rampant, a new report suggests there is another Justice League member that will appear in "Man of Steel 2". According to Latino-Review, Dick Grayson could be introduced in the film. In the comics, he was taken under Batman's wing and became the first incarnation of Robin before he sets it apart and takes on the independent superhero identity Nightwing.

There is no word on who may play the Caped Crusader's young crime-fighting buddy. Meanwhile, the list of actresses linked to Wonder Woman gets longer with the addition of Gal Gadot and Elodie Yung. Variety learns that the "Fast and Furious" starlet and the "G.I. Joe: Retaliation" star are facing competition from Olga Kurylenko.

They are testing for an unspecified female lead role described as "tall, brunette, athletic and exotic" and rumored to be Bruce Wayne's love interest. The description seems to match Wonder Woman who occasionally has a flirtation with the Caped Crusader in the comics.

"Thor" actress Jaimie Alexander is also rumored eying the role in the film. She confirmed she had "discussions" with Warner Bros. about an unnamed superhero movie and said she "kind of knows the story line" for the upcoming Superman vs. Batman movie.

Another report says the female hero will be showing up as Diana, her real identity, instead of wearing her signature superheroine suit. "Since the cat seems to out of the bag...here's what I heard: Wonder Woman will not be in Supes vs Batman. But a certain Diana may show up," tweeted Borys Kit of The Hollywood Reporter. "[She] will have a minor minor role. This is Supes vs Bats. Not Supes vs Bats vs WW."

Henry Cavill will reprise his role as the Man of Steel and Zack Snyder returns as the director in the "Man of Steel" sequel. Ben Affleck is tapped to play the Caped Crusader in the flick set for a July 17, 2015 release in the U.S.
